PROs: Cheap unit cost, low setup charge, quick delivery for small quantity
CONs: Slow delivery for large quantity, spot color and un-sophisticated design only
NEXT: Best option: if quantity is large better use #OP offset printing. If logo is sophisticated better use #OD Digital printing for very small quantity or #OP offset printing for large quantity.
ART: Vectorise (.eps) or high definition 300 DPI, 2/1 (200%) scale artwork (.ai/.psd/.pdf/.jpg..etc)

With low setup charge of USD 50.00, and refund for 5K, silk screen printing is a cheap logo process for both small and large order quantity. Process time is also short and efficient for both small and large order.
But, especially in the case of large order, silk printing is only suggest if you have 1 color or 2 colors, un-sophisticated logo, with no color juxtaposition.
Silk Screen printing allow the printing of spot color only ( solid color, non gradient color ) and printed one at a time with usually a baking oven session in between to make sure the printing won’t scratch easily.
Silk Screen & Pad printing have the same PROs & CONs, the difference being that Silk Screen allow to print flat surface only, while Pad Printing can print on convex and oblong surface with a slight angle.
At QCS’s factory in China ( QCS China Industrial co. ), we have a setup of 30x silk screen machine and 12x pad printing machine.
